TingelTangel im Theater des Westens is a new concert and performance series in Berlin. Expect a robust program of diverse alternative, electronic and pop concerts by German and international artists, alongside underground local Berlin artists, contemporary dance performances, drag shows, comedians, literary and podcast events.
TingelTangel was originally a cabaret series that took place in the Theater during the 1920s and 30s. This inspiration for the concert series is a way to honor the history of theater while looking forward to a more inclusive future. TingelTangel provides a platform for artists and luminaries working towards progressive change, mixing established popular acts with up-and-coming revolutionaries.
TingelTangel is not a Weisswurst party. TingelTangel is a celebration of all the beauty and diversity that Berlin has to offer. The TT-Team is committed to supporting a range of artists from all genders and identities. This is a concert series that is aiming to feature more then 100 shows within the next 2 years. As such, new acts will be announced on a regular rolling basis that at times may not appear balanced. Rest assured that at the end all will be as it should. You have our promise.
