ARE TICKETS AVAILABLE ONLY IN ADVANCE?
Tickets will be available on the day of the event in the Ticket Hall for shows that have not sold out. Early arrival is suggested and payment is only possible in cash. Please see the Ticket page for exact pricing.
MAY I BRING SERVICE DOGS TO TdW?
Registered service animals are allowed, domesticated pets are not. Feel free to contact tickets@tingeltangel.berlin in advance with any questions or concerns.
IS TdW ACCESSIBLE FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES?
There is step-free access to every level of the theater through an elevator on the right side of the building. Please check in at the front entrance and follow directions to the elevator entrance on the side of the building. The upper two balconies contain steps. The main-floor and Hochparkett have step-free access.
The seats in the theater are old and potentially restricting for some people. The seats on the Hochparkett have a larger size and less mobility restrictions, so we recommend them if you have concerns regarding your access and/or comfort.
Certain seats may have an obstructed or partial view and this will be noted on the specific seat selection at time of purchase. If you experience vertigo or have a fear of heights it is recommended to avoid purchasing tickets on the second balcony.
There is reserved seating for wheelchair users on the Hochparkett, as this area provides the best and most comfortable view. Wheelchair accessible toilets can also be found on this level. Care persons accompanying a person in a wheelchair or a person with a severely disabled ID-card will receive a complimentary ticket, if you contact us in advance. Some shows, but not all, may have sign language translation. We are doing our best to ensure this will happen whenever possible.

Loud music and flashing lights will be happening throughout every event. Please notify a member of staff if you are experiencing a sensory issue.
TdW staff is always available on every level of the theater to ensure you have the best possible experience. Please do not hesitate to ask for assistance.
WHAT ARE THE BATHROOMS LIKE IN THE THEATER?
Each floor features several bathrooms for use. All bathrooms are gender-neutral during every TingelTangel event. Bathrooms on the Hochparkett (first balcony) are wheelchair accessible.
DO YOU HAVE A COAT CHECK?
Yes, there are several coat checks on different levels of the theater for a small fee. Storing items in the coat check is at the guest’s own risk. We take no responsibility for any valuables left in jackets, coats, bags or backpacks.
IS SMOKING ALLOWED IN TdW?
Smoking is prohibited in TdW. It is only possible on the street outside the theater. Re-entry is permitted with a valid ticket.
DO YOU HAVE SOLIDARITY TICKET PRICING?
We are aware that our ticket pricing is relatively high. We do our best to keep pricing fair so that as many people as possible can afford to see the show, while still supporting the artists and staff with a fair fee. If you would like to see one of our concerts but cannot afford a ticket and fall into one of the following categories, please send an e-mail with a scan of the supporting document to soli@tingeltangel.berlin. We will let you know two weeks before the show, whether Solidarity tickets are available.

Asylum seekers or people living in Refugee centers
Pensioners
Social welfare recipients

ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED IN THE THEATER?
Generally, children under six are not allowed in any of the performances. For most shows, unless stated otherwise, children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Please see information on the specific show for guidelines.
WHY IS THE ANNOUNCED LINE-UP SO FAR SO UNBALANCED IN TERMS OF GENDER?
TingelTangel is not a Weisswurst party. TingelTangel is a celebration of all the beauty and diversity that Berlin has to offer. The TT-Team is committed to supporting a range of artists from all genders and identities. This is a concert series that is aiming to feature more than 100 shows within the next two years. As such, new acts will be announced on a regular rolling basis that at times may not appear balanced. Rest assured that at the end all will be as it should. You have our promise.
