Acclaimed British artist, producer, composer and experimental musician Matthew Herbert presents "The Horse," one of his most extraordinary projects to date, challenging his remarkable legacy: Based on a life-size skeleton of a racehorse, with flutes made from its bones. Working with the London Contemporary Orchestra and a number of special collaborators, Herbert shows himself in full swing, restlessly curious and culminating in a highly original, ritualistic music that resonates with full intent.
Matthew Herbert is without question one of the most important British artists of his time. From the highest level of film music and avant-garde composition to iconic dance floor tracks and remixes, his achievements in music and sound are monolithic.
