With Tens Across the Board, the audience can expect an extravagant showcase evening in which four teams from the German Ballroom Community compete for the grand prize in the breathtaking setting of the Theater des Westens. In classic Ballroom categories such as Voguing, Runway or Face and others with an exciting twist, the participants will fight to see who will be the winning team of the evening and go home with the big trophy. A total of 28 performers bring their talents to the big stage - with impressive performances and extravagant fashion.
The next day, the Aftermath Ball calls on the ballroom community to showcase their skills on the runway at an authentic ball. While Saturday's performance will be an exciting, novel showcase of Ballroom culture, the Aftermath Ball is an opportunity for all members of the community to demonstrate their skills in front of an international panel of judges. The weekend is curated by Legendary Leo Saint Laurent and Ambrosia Gorgeous Gucci.

So Extra Berlin is a project by German Mother Ambrosia Gorgeous Gucci, with which she curates events in the immediate or wider realm of ballroom. About Ballroom:
Ballroom is a culture formed by Black and Latino queer and especially trans people in New York in the sixties/seventies as a necessary response to their multiple marginalization in society - not only by racism, including within the queer scene, but also within their own families and communities because of their queerness. They formed "Houses" with "Mothers" and "Fathers" as their families of choice. Today, the concept of Houses still exists and has spread worldwide. Members gather at Balls to create the Ballroom scene. A ball is a competition with different categories in which the participants compete and which represents the heart of the community.
