MOKA EFTI ORCHESTRA & BENNO FÜRMANN

A musical reading
"Der nasse Fisch" by Volker Kutscher
With guest star Le Pustra (Kabarett der Namenlosen)

Moka Efti Orchestra, the original big band from Babylon Berlin and series star Benno Fürmann bring the book template from the international series to new life. "Der nasse Fisch" reworks the wicked Berlin of the late 1920s into literary material that is addictive. Volker Kutscher's Gereon Rath series hits a nerve, Tom Tykwer, Achim von Borries and Henk Handloegten deliver the internationally successful series to go with it, and with the Moka Efti hit "Zu Asche, zu Staub" the mood of the golden twenties spreads like wildfire.
Texts from Volker Kutscher's book and visuals by Arne Jysch, based on an idea by Gesa Husemann, mix with the music of the 14-piece Moka Efti Orchestra and the haunting reading by Benny Fürmann to create a very special stage show.

Event starts at: 8:00 p.m.
Doors open at: 7:00 p.m.
